5. The other webmasters will link back to your site and your site benefits from increased traffic, higher search engine rankings (because of higher link popularity), more customers and more sales.

How well does Arelis achieve its goal?
Arelis installed without incident and was quick and intuitive to get using. To find potential linking partners you are given 2 options. Firstly you can type in URLs of competitors websites and get Arelis to go away and find all the sites that link to them. It follows that if a site links to your competitor, it might also link to you too. This works brilliantly and is a very clever way to find potential partners. To do the same work finding sites by hand would take days, even weeks. Arelis does it in minutes. The second method for finding link partners is to give Arelis Link software some keywords to work on. Arelis then queries the search engines to find highly targetted potential partners. Overall, the ease of finding potential partners was astounding.
Once the potential partners have been found, you then need to go through each one and check their site for suitability and also make sure they have a links page. This part of the process is probably the most time consuming, though the integrated broswer does speed up this step. While it might be tempting to ask why Arelis did not just let you mass e-mail everyone in the list, you need to remember that this would be spamming, and eventually lead to your domain being removed at your ISP, and your site banned at the search engines. You must spend the time and go through the list carefully. Sites can be categorized and sub-categorized to help manage your list. Once your list of potential link partners has been pruned and refined, you can create a page or pages linking to your potential partners. Doing so means that when you contact these webmasters, you can inform them that you have already linked to their site (and give a URL) and would appreciate a reciprocal link exchange. Arelis reciprocal links software makes creating such a page easy. You can use pre-defined templates, or design your own so that the page fits seamlessly into the design of your site.
First contact with webmasters is easy, Arelis has recorded all e-mail addresses listed on the potential partners site so you can choose the most appropriate. Arelis even comes with pre-written templates for letters which you can send. However, I would recommend personalizing these somewhat and writing your own for maximum effect. The whole process of contacting webmasters can be documented in full, together with details of their site and the page they have linked to you from.

How long does it take to setup a reciprocal link exchange with suitable partners?
For my first site, creating enough quality links using Arelis took two days to refine my list of potential partners to about 100, check their sites, and go through and e-mail them. During the next 3 weeks I began receiving replies from webmasters. Those that did not reply were sent a second message (documented in e-mail history), and finally removed from my links page if no reply was received. Those happy to supply a reciprocal link are now link partners (currently 41), which thanks to Arelis took a fraction of the time I would have needed to do this by hand. The links pages produced are safe for search engines due to my template being used which has unique content besides the links themselves. I decided to split my links pages into 7 pages of between 4 and 8 links per page. Each links page was themed as a sub-category of the main site theme and giving some useful content. My links are highly targetted from very related niche sites, and now I am waiting in anticipation of Google to find all these links and reward me for the time spent.
