Review of Shawn Pringle's PR Prowler

Every webmaster knows that Google Page Rank has had a huge effect on the success or failure of web sites. A major headache for any webmaster has always been to find high Page Rank (PR) web sites to exchange links with. Page Rank Prowler, now in version 2 has come along to solve your problems.

The idea is simple. Enter some keywords that are relevant to your site. Set a minimum Page Rank that you are interested in and click a button. Pagerank Prowler goes away and finds sites related to your keywords with a minimum PR of that you specified. PR Prowler can return 1000s of high PR sites that would make great link exchange partners for your site. Below is a screenshot of the link partners to this site.

What an easy way to find new high PR link partners. Visit a competitors site, type their links page URL into PageRank Prowler and find the high PR link partners that have already shown a willingness to link to other sites by virtue of the fact they linked to your competitor. It really is that easy with PageRank Prowler.

Does Pagerank Prowler work?

Sure it does, and very well too (although I did have a problem with my firewall and had to turn it off while PR Prowler is doing its thing). In a very short time I found a lot of PR 5 and higher web sites related to one of my own sites. All I needed to do then was visit these sites, look out for a links page (to tell me that the site was involved in a link exchange) and contact those sites to suggest a reciprocal links exchange. PR Prowler saved me many hours of manually searching for these sites.

One of the most time consuming jobs in developing Martell style sites is related to keyword research. I cannot go into too much detail here about Martell's techniques for copyright reasons, but imagine if you could type in a list of keywords, click a button, and get PageRank Prowler to return not only the PR of the top ranking pages in Google, but also the backwards links of the top sites. To conclude, PR Prowler is a great software product that will certainly increase my own productivity. The fact that it can help with my keyword research as well as finding high PR link partners is just fabulous. If only I could get it to work through my firewall I would be very happy.

Once the firewall issue gets fixed I will be giving this tool a maximum 10/10 but feel that the firewall issue does need to be resolved before I give this software our highest possible praise.
